He was a named partner in a state wide firm handling cases on behalf of the insurance companies and large corporations. He now brings this extensive experience on the inner workings of the insurance and corporate defense industry to the aid of injured persons.Rusty also help clients in the areas of personal injury, products liability, medical malpractice, commercial litigation, insurance coverage disputes, class actions, and premises liability.
Rusty participated in the research and writing of a book in the field of public interest law in June 1992, while affiliated with Professor Michael Rooke-Ley, J.D. He was State Representative Elaine Gordon’s Campaign Manager and Political Consultant during her bid for reelection as a State Representative for the State of Florida in 1990 and in 1992.
Rusty earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science from Barry University in 1990 and he received his Juris Doctorate Degree from Nova Southeastern University’s Shepard Broad Law Center. While in law school he was a member of the Moot Court Society, Environmental Law Society, and S.A.L.S.A. He was also a member of the Honor Society Phi Delta Phi. He was admitted to the Florida Bar in 1994.
Currently a member of the Broward County Bar Association, Rusty is also admitted to the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida and the United States Court of Appeals, Eleventh Circuit.
Born in Havana, Cuba, Rusty currently resides in Broward County, Florida with his wife Jocelyne and their four children. He is fluent in Spanish.
